Nashville Legends Tour

Experience an unforgettable stay in Nashville that includes a tour of country music greatness.

About Your Trip

Delve into Fontanel Mansion, an awesome and massive log home that was once home to country music star Barbara Mandrell. Check out over 20 rooms, 5 fireplaces, an indoor pool, 2 kitchens and 13 bathrooms – not to mention an indoor shooting range! Spend time perusing multiple rooms with walls filled with impressive memorabilia and mementos from legends in music. There are highly unique items from such greats as Kenny Chesney, Jewel, Alabama and many others.

Inspirations for the incredible Fontanel complex come from Nashville’s vibrant natural scenery, world-renowned music scene and genuine Southern charm. After the tour, enjoy a tasty authentic Italian lunch at Cafe Fontanella, one of Nashville’s top tier restaurants. Before departing the Fontanel Mansion, spend some time leisurely tasting the select Old World-style wines at the Natchez Hills Winery and learning about their creation.

Upon leaving Fontanel, next up is the Grand Ole Opry for a 1-hour guided backstage tour. Walk in the footsteps of countless country music legends and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the place where all the magic happens.

In your ample leisure time, make sure to utilize the complimentary, 3-day Wildhorse Downtown Shuttle Pass to get out and explore this amazing city. Try such hotspots as Nashville’s Farmer’s Market, the world-famous Grand Ole Opry House – where the world’s most beloved and longest-running live radio show is still performed – and Opry Mills for a dinner at the highly unique Aquarium Restaurant. Don’t forget Madame Tussauds™ Nashville, for delving into immersive scenes celebrating the city’s profound musical contributions.

What we love:

• Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center boasts enormous glass-roofed atriums housing numerous shopping and dining options, an indoor riverboat garden cruise, golf course and more.
• Home of the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville has showcased generations of country music artists. It’s the place to be if you’re a music lover.
• The world-famous Wildhorse Saloon has featured innumerable country western stars, as well as diverse artists such as Etta James, Pat Benatar and Ringo Starr.
• It’s not every day that one gets to tour a 33,000-square foot (3,066 square-meter) log home!

Destination

Nashville is a big city with small-town Southern charm. Remains of the antebellum United States can be found in stately plantations, inviting you to peer into the country’s past. Sweet tea and fried chicken are embedded in the heritage of the South, but the city’s fruit tea and “hot chicken” put a local twist on these 2 Southern staples.

Nashville’s storied musical past makes it country music’s mecca, earning it the moniker of “Music City.” The sounds of the Grand Ole Opry (just minutes from the Gaylord Opryland Resort), the tastes of The Loveless Cafe and the sights of Centennial Park will make memories of Nashville that are sure to stay with you forever.
